Expecting the unexpected

Ok. Here it is. I never really thought I’d have any type of a blog going, since I think I’m horrible at writing. I know I’m married to Mr. English, but that doesn’t mean I’m good at writing by association. Now that I’ve made it clear about my writing I hope you won’t be offended by my grammar mishaps.

As many of you may know I’m expecting the unexpected. This was not planned by any means, but we are excited (and scared). I’d like to say “I’m embracing pregnancy and enjoying to the fullest extent,” but I’d be lying. Right now with all the nausea (24/7), the excess bloating, teenage-like-acne and tiredness it is hard to see the bigger picture. I can’t wait to get past at least 50% of these terrible things so I can enjoy this beautiful part of life.

Next week I’ll have a couple of appointments that should point me in the right direction of things I can and can’t do. I think I’ll be up for another ultrasound in a couple of weeks as well. Hopefully David will get to attend, so he can hear the baby’s heartbeat.

Until next time . . .
